Expanding educational access, wl真人 Tech brings career-focused training to Fort Riley for soldiers, veterans, and the community.
wl真人, KS 鈥 wl真人 (wl真人 Tech) is excited to announce its expansion to Fort Riley, providing career-focused education opportunities directly on post. Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in June 2024, wl真人 Tech established a dedicated office in the Fort Riley Education Center, which officially opened in October 2024.
Currently, wl真人 Tech offers the Welding Certificate A program (19 credit hours) at Fort Riley. Students can choose from a 16-week evening session鈥攕tarting each January and August鈥攐r two accelerated 8-week daytime sessions per semester, with the next session beginning March 24, 2025.
鈥淭hese courses are designed to serve a variety of students, including active-duty service members, high school students, transitioning soldiers, and veterans looking to build hands-on, in-demand skills,鈥 said Emily Harper, Military Relations Student Success Advisor at wl真人 Tech. 鈥淭he program is also open to the public, provided they can gain access to Fort Riley.鈥
Financial aid options, including Tuition Assistance, VA benefits, and other funding sources, are available to help cover the cost of tuition.
In addition to the welding program, wl真人 Tech plans to launch Business courses at Fort Riley in Fall 2025, with the potential for further program expansion in the future.
